Remind yourself that if someone doesn’t make it obvious that they love or care about you, you don’t need them. You deserve better. Because even if things worked out with that person, 5 years down the line you’re still going to be vying for their attention and be left feeling empty. Certainly, you don’t want that. God doesn’t let things work out for a reason. It may hurt now, but it is temporary. He is saving you from so much heartache in the future. You deserve someone that doesn’t make you question how they feel about you and leaves you feeling at peace.

My B.C. days (before Christ) I used to think and say things like… “People should be able to do what they want as long as they aren’t hurting anyone.”
I am so incredibly thankful that I know the Lord now, and that my whole mindset has changed since I met Jesus. There are so many things that we think ‘don’t hurt anyone else’ but God is still against because it hurts US. In the same way that parents want to keep their kids safe from things in the world they have no idea will negatively affect them, God sets rules and boundaries with us for a reason. It is because He loves us, and it is because He knows better than us. He sees all things and comprehends them far better than we ever will. We must trust Him when He calls us to obey… there is a purpose for obedience and through obedience comes blessings!
